ICPE 2019: Call for Participation

With the development of big data, cloud computing, block chains, Internet of things and Wisdom +, these original innovative concepts have been integrated into human work and life. Likewise, issues such as information security, data rights, and privacy protection have attracted increasing attention. To promote international academic exchanges in these fields, the 9th International Conference on Information Capital, Property & Ethics (ICPE 2019) will be held in Zhuhai Campus of Beijing Normal University from June 15 to 18, 2019. The conference focuses on frontier and current hot topics of information policy, information rights and information ethics concerning new practical and theoretical issues in the fields of information policy, government data and personal information. Contributions on relevant theoretical research, information policy, information law and research work in-progress are welcome. The ICPE 2019 calls for Chinese and English conference papers, English posters, as well as English abstracts.

Topics

(1)Information laws and regulations: the latest development of international information policy; personal information protection in the mobile environment; the development and evolution of information policy and law in China and elsewhere; laws and regulations in the field of public cultural services; policies and laws on research data sharing and reuse; educational development of information policy and law; research and analytical methods of information policy and law; open utilization of government data.

(2)Information rights and interests: the capitalization and operation of government data; the confirmation and traceability of government data, research data and personal data; the valuation and pricing of data assets; the development and utilization of UGC; the management of rights and interests; the equal rights of information access and utilization; the rights of public cultural institutions such as libraries, archives, and museums; the combination of information resources in the digital humanity environment.

(3) Information ethics: developing trend of information ethics; content system of information ethics in the mobile environment; Internet of things, big data and block chain environment; information ethics in government data development and utilization; information ethics in the process of creating, publishing and reusing research data; boundary of information professional ethics and its content composition; judgment and criteria setting of network information ethics.
