Course observation activities of School of Government were successfully completed

In order to give full play to the demonstration and leading role of the famous teachers, and to promote the exchange of teaching experience and the improvement of teaching quality, our school held a series of Course observation activities.

On the morning of November 8, 2018, the first course observation activity was successfully carried out in the classroom of Teaching 2, 105. The course of observation was the "Information, Users and Technology" by Professor Li Shaohui.

In this class, Teacher Li introduced the data mining to the students and fully mobilized the enthusiasm of the students by contacting the stars and other entertainment cases. The students concentrate on the lectures, and they can actively answer the questions every time the teacher asks questions, and actively exchange questions with the teacher during the class. Liu Xiaojuan, Li Chunqiu and many other teachers participated in the course observation.

On the afternoon of November 8, 2018, the second Course observation activities was successfully held in Jiaojiu 301. The course of observation was “Recruitment and Selection” by Professor Haibo.

This course focuses on the theory, process and operation methods of HR recruitment and selection. In the two-hour course, Professor Yu Haibo first taught the main features of structured interviews through rich classroom cases and vivid stories. Later, through on-site simulations, students were given a clearer understanding of the entire process of structured interviews.Ke Jianglin, Guo Yue, Guan Xiaoyu, Luo Yuwei, Liu Lili, Liu Zhipeng, Li Chunqiu and other teachers actively participated in the observation and discussion.

On the morning of November 9, 2018, Sun Yu, a famous teacher of Beijing Normal University, taught teaching experience to young professors of our institute.

Teacher Sun Yu analyzed the problems that teachers nowadays generally face: the conflict between research and teaching, and put forward several suggestions based on their own exploration experience.

Next, Dr. Guo Jia summed up and mentioned that the school institutions can provide sufficient teaching resources to assist, teachers can also actively train and guide the undergraduate generation as the main research force to achieve a win-win situation.

Finally, the questioning session, Sun Yu and several young teachers conducted in-depth exchanges, discussing design courses, guiding students' thinking and cognitive direction, and interaction and control in the classroom. This teaching observation seminar was successfully completed.
